Part of Downtown Sioux Falls Street to Close Temporarily

Some drivers in downtown Sioux Falls will be going a little out of their way for a time this week.

Starting Tuesday (January 23), the southbound lane on North Phillips Avenue between Second Street and Fifth Street will be closed to through traffic.

City crews will be in the area working on utilities on the west side of the street during that time.

This work should be completed prior to the evening commute.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured to North Main Avenue. Parking on the west side of North Phillips Avenue will also be limited.
