Sioux Falls’ Newest Kwik Star Ready to Open on East Side
Sioux Falls' newest gas station is getting ready for a grand opening on October 19. But wait...it's so much more than just a gas station. It's a much-anticipated Kwik Star located near 57th Street west of Sycamore Avenue. It's also a grocery store that carries a variety of food options and baked goods like their famous Glazers Donuts.
Pork chops, too? You got it. In fact, raw hamburger, bags of fresh fruit, and dairy products will also be available. Having been in Kwik Stops while traveling, I'm quite excited for this store. Kwik Star is reported to be a 24-hour grocery store and gas station and has the grand opening set for October 19 at 5:00 AM.

Kwik Star values their employees, telling Dakota News Now that they are the most important part of the business.
”It’s the most valuable part. The most valuable part of our company is our co-workers and our guests. It has been a challenge to get those co-workers toward us. We have been using a lot of radio ads, media ads, and a lot of active recruiting out in the city." ~ store leader Dave Hanson.
They are looking to hire up to 100 people by the end of the year.
Kwik Star announced that it will open six new sites in the Sioux Falls, S.D., area by the end of 2023. Founded in Wisconsin in 1965, and is one of the largest independently-held convenience store chains in the United States.
