Top 2027 LB Prospect Set to Visit Alabama in October
Kalen DeBoer and his staff have been clicking on all cylinders when it comes to recruiting since the season ended, and now it seems that DeBoer and co. are looking to get a head start on the Tide’s 2027 class with the second 2027 prospect in the past two days scheduling a visit to Tuscaloosa in October.

According to On3’s Chad Simmons, Kaden Henderson, the No.2 linebacker in the 2027 class, will be in attendance when the Tide faces Tennessee on October 18th in Bryant-Denny Stadium, with the top-50 prospect having several other visits planned for this fall.
Henderson, who is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker out of Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida, according to 247 Sports Composite ratings, is the No.2 linebacker, No.4 player out of the state of Florida, and the 33rd overall prospect in the 2027 class.
This would be a massive get for the Tide, who are in for some significant losses at the linebacker spot in the next year with Deontae Lawson, Justin Jefferson, and Nikhai Hill-Green all being fifth-year seniors who are out of eligibility once the 2025-2026 season concludes.
Henderson is a long, relatively slender linebacker. However, his intensity compensates for his lack of weight, as he possesses the speed to track down running backs from across the field. He stops running plays by knocking leading blockers off balance or throwing them to the ground. Henderson consistently executes tackles, as demonstrated by his impressive sophomore season, in which he recorded 92 total tackles and four forced fumbles. Additionally, he can drop back into coverage and play the field like a safety, evidenced by his interception last year, which he returned for a touchdown, and his ability to prevent any receivers from getting behind him.

Henderson’s last and first visit to the Capstone was back in April when the Tide held its annual A-Day. This event saw Alabama host four of the top 150 prospects in the 2027 class, with current Crimson Tide defensive back Keon Sabb’s little brother, Xavier Sabb, also visiting. Henderson looks to get back on campus, and DeBoer and his staff are looking to build a relationship with him early on in his recruitment, with his junior season approaching.
DeBoer and his staff seem to be building a star-studded visitor list for the Tide's match against the Volunteers in Tuscaloosa. Kemon Spells, the No.1 running back in the 2027 class, is also expected to be on a visit the same weekend as Henderson.
