Off The Tee: Wild PGA Finish, Fed Ex Cup Playoff Preview, Who’s Going to the Ryder Cup, and Rory, Tiger, and Jimmy
The number of tournaments is dwindling and so will the number of players in the final four events of the 2014 PGA Tour schedule.
We've reached the Fed Ex Cup Playoffs, a four event sprint-to-the-finish for the $10 million dollar first prize.
The odds on favorite to win the whole thing continues to be Rory McIlroy, who captured his second straight major, and fourth overall, with his victory at the PGA Championship earlier this month.
In this installment of 'Off The Tee', I talked with 4 Deep Golf's Joel Harrington about the frantic finish in Louisville, with McIlroy, and the rest of the field, trying to beat the darkness and finish the final round at Valhalla:

Joel explains how the final four weeks play out:
Two weeks after the season ends, the best U.S. and European players gather in Scotland for the Ryder Cup. But in just 13 days, American captain Tom Watson is going to make his final three selections during a live event in New York City, September 2nd.
So who does Joel think those final three U.S. players will be?
Off the course this week, two of the games best known players, Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, stopped by 'The Tonight Show' to plug Nike's new irons.
While in the studio, Jimmy engaged the two in some very awkward conversation and then, with Tiger as his 'swing coach', squared off against Rory in a game of 'Facebreakers':
Joel thought the segment was 'interesting' to say the least:
