Super Bowl Party Recipes: Mocha Mocha, RumChata Shakes
Whether attending or hosting a Super Bowl party, no gathering is complete without great food. Mocha Mocha and RumChata Milkshakes are top-notch beverages that defy your normal standards for a party drink.
Mocha Mocha
1 1/2 quarts (6 cups) of water
1/2 cup of instant chocolate milk mix
1/4 cup of instant coffee
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream
1/2 gallon of chocolate ice cream
Cool Whip/Reddi Whip (optional)
Chocolate shavings/syrup (optional)
Start off by boiling the water on a stovetop. Then, dissolve the chocolate milk mix, the instant coffee and sugar in the water. After the contents have dissolved, remove the water from the burner and let it cool.
Pour your concoction into a punch bowl and add the ice cream by the spoonful. Make sure to stir in the ice cream until it softens.
Optional: add Cool Whip or chocolate shavings/syrup to the top of the Mocha Mocha.
Serve directly from the punch bowl.

Adults and children enjoy the richness of Mocha Mocha, but if you have plenty of children or guests under the age of 21 at your party, the Mocha Mocha will be gone before you know it. If that's the case, a somewhat similar replacement beverage is a RumChata Milkshake, which combines everything that's great about being a child and being an adult into one drink.
RumChata Milkshakes
1 bottle of RumChata
1 container of vanilla ice cream
1 container of Nesquik chocolate drink mix
White milk (preferably skim)
Straws
Chocolate/caramel syrup (optional)
Cool Whip (optional)
These milkshakes are made and served on an individual basis. First, take two decently large scoops of vanilla ice cream and place them in a cup. Next, add a skosh or two of milk. The amount of milk you add will determine how thick/runny the shake is. Add a large scoop of Nesquik mix to the cup's contents. Stir by hand.
As you near stirring completion, add your desired amount of RumChata. Stir again until consistency is uniform throughout the cup.
Optional: add desired syrup and/or whipped toppings to your stirred milkshake.
Eat with a spoon and/or straw.
RumChata Milkshakes are a popular dessert beverage that combine the youthful joy of a milkshake and the alcoholic content of a responsible adult.
