It's been a long nine months since the Minnesota Timberwolves took the floor, and this weekend you can watch them open the preseason.

Coming off a shortened 19-45 season, the Timberwolves will return to action on Saturday night with its first preseason game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Wolves will play the Grizzlies twice before ending the preseason against Dallas. Minnesota will host Memphis for both preseason games on Saturday and Monday, then travel to Dallas on Thursday.

  • Saturday, December 12: vs. Memphis, 7:00
  • Monday, December 14: vs. Memphis, 7:00
  • Thursday, December 17: @ Dallas, 7:30

All three games will be live on Fox Sports North. Fox Sports North is available on Midco, DirecTV, or AT&T Now MAX.

Led by Karl-Anthony Towns, D'Angelo Russell, Ricky Rubio, and 1st overall pick Anthony Edwards, the Wolves will look to improve on its record from last year and attempt to make a run to the playoffs.

Following the preseason, the Timberwolves will open the regular season right before Christmas on Wednesday, December 23 against the Detroit Pistons. The Wolves will be tested early with a road trip to Los Angeles to play both the Lakers and Clippers on December 26-27 and then a return game at home to open 2021 against Washington.
