The 2025 Iowa Hawkeyes just learned of their schedule for next season.
It appears to be a very favorable road to continuing the Hawkeye's current 12-year bowl streak.
Iowa will play seven games at home in 2025 and will open up the season against Albany on August 30th.
Here's a look at the schedule:
2025 Iowa Football Schedule
Aug. 30 | UAlbany |
Sept. 6 | at Iowa State |
Sept. 13 | UMass |
Sept. 20 | at Rutgers |
Sept. 27 | Indiana |
Oct. 4 | Idle |
Oct. 11 | at Wisconsin |
Oct. 18 | Penn State |
Oct. 25 | Minnesota |
Nov. 1 | Idle |
Nov. 8 | Oregon |
Nov. 15 | at USC |
Nov. 22 | Michigan State |
Nov. 28 (Fri.) | at Nebraska |
That's an appetizing slate. If one had to guess, the Hawkeyes are likely to be favored in a ton of those games, and every game played on the road (at least for now) appears very winnable.
The tough stretch lies in mid-October, as the Hawkeyes will travel to Madison to take on the Badgers before hosting Penn State and Minnesota. Immediately thereafter, they have a bye, then return home to take on current #1 Oregon.
The Iowa Hawkeyes and Head Coach Kirk Ferentz gear up to take on the Missouri Tigers in the TransPerfect Music City Bowl on Monday, December 30th, a 1:30 start time.
