The Yard Bird Challenge has been part of the regular menu at the Keg Chicken, and few have been brave enough to try it. Until now.

How Does The Yard Bird Challenge Work? What's In It?

You'd better be hungry for this major Sioux Falls food challenge.

Here's what is on the menu for the Yard Bird Challenge:

  • 16 pieces of chicken (Equals two chickens).
  • One pound of fries.
  • A Pint of Two Sides of choice (baked beans, coleslaw, or potato salad)

You can pick the drink of your choice to wash this meal down. If you don't finish this meal in 45 minutes, the total cost of the Yard Bird Challenge is $40.

Karen Meyer of Brandon was up for the job. Here was her order:

  • 16 pieces of bone-in chicken
  • 1 lb French Fries
  • Pint Coleslaw
  • Pint Baked Beans
  • Drink: Coke

Karen Meyer defined the odds and finished the Yard Bird Challenge in.....21 MINUTES! The Keg Chicken shared the exciting victory in a Facebook post.

Keep in mind: Karen had 45 minutes to finish this meal. All the Sioux Empire can say is wow!
