Want To Drink Beer & Sing? Join The New Sioux Falls Beer Choir
There are a variety of groups and clubs to join around Sioux Falls. For example, if you like to sing then be part of a local choir. If drinking beer is your go-to hobby, then find a group of beer connoisseurs. But what if you like to sing and drink beer? There is a new group in town for you!
Calling beer lovers and lifelong singers: There is a new Sioux Falls Beer Choir that is about to launch this month. Our friends at Pigeon605 got the exclusive story about the new Sioux Falls singing group.
The Sioux Falls Beer Choir is about to change the way people in the community do bars, beers, and music. Who is the creator of the Sioux Falls Beer Choir? He is a lifetime music educator named Barton Torbert. But people call him "Beer Choir Bart."
This unique group is set to be the first and only beer choir in Sioux Falls. "Beer Choir Bart" tells Pigeon605 that this choir is "a chance for people to get together and sing in a chorus, no matter how many years it has been since they took to the risers at an elementary school concert. Or in high school. Or in church." The goal of the Sioux Falls Beer Choir is to bring back music in more informal settings. Before jukeboxes or karaoke nights, people did sing in bars. The Sioux Falls Beer Choir will be singing at the bars until the last call!
The first of what "Beer Choir Bart" hopes to be of many monthly choir meetings is set to take place on Thursday, September 7th at 7 PM at Remedy Brewing Company. More information about the Sioux Falls Beer Choir can be found here.
