With the spring-like weather we've been having, it's not so hard to believe that the big, fuzzy Easter Bunny will be taking visitors in Sioux Falls not that long from now.

The Empire Mall's Easter Bunny Experience will open March 1, 2024, with several different activities while the big guy is in town through Saturday, March 30.

  • The Bunny Photo Experience is open Monday - Friday from 2 to 7 PM, Saturdays from 11 AM to 7 PM, and Sundays from Noon to 6 PM. (Beginning on Monday, March 18, Monday - Friday hours change to 11 AM to 7 PM). They strongly advise getting reservations, but walk-up guests are also welcome.
  • Pet Photos- Sunday, March 10, is a special day for pet owners, as you can bring your furry friend in to have a photo taken with the fuzzy Easter Bunny. Photos will be taken center court from 6:30 to 8 PM. Reservations are again recommended.
  • Easter Extravaganza - Join in the fun on Saturday, March 16, from 11 AM to 1 PM. The first 150 kids receive a gift bag, and there will be crafts and games, plus cookies and beverages, while supplies last.
  • Caring Bunny - This is a very special event for special needs children and their families. Special care is taken to ensure a sensory-friendly environment. Reservations are required on Sunday, March 17, 10:00 am – 11:30 am.
