Haunted Sioux Falls Tours: What to Expect
The Siouxland Heritage Museum hosts the Haunted Sioux Falls Tours every October. It's a one-hour guided bus tour that takes you to a number of public buildings and also a few private residences that may still have former residents lingering about. In any case, you'll hear some great ghost stories!
The first tour kicks off on Tuesday, October 6 at 6:30 PM, and limited tickets are available. You've got to hurry because they sell out pretty quickly. Tickets are $15 and are available at the Old Courthouse Museum in downtown Sioux Falls or by calling (605) 367-4210. A $1.00 service fee per ticket will be added to phone orders.
One of the haunted locations is the Old Courthouse Museum itself, and for years people have reported ghostly happenings there. Could it be that there were several executions by hanging there back in the late 1800s and early 1900s? Perhaps some residual energy? You could find out for yourself by hopping on one of the upcoming Haunted bus tours.
