Sioux Falls is on a very select list of U.S. with an abundance of two things in very high demand right now: jobs and an affordable place to live.
Go Banking Rates ranks South Dakota's largest fourth overall in livability in their ranking of the 10 Cities With Plenty of Jobs and Cheap Housing.
The rankings of the 200 biggest housing markets in the U.S. were based on data from Zillow, the Metro Statistical Area unemployment rate, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The typical home value in Sioux Falls is $302,956, which is the highest of the top ten cities, while the average rent of $1,178 is the sixth-best.
But the city's real boost comes from its job market.
Sioux Falls' has the top labor force participation rate (74.4%) and is tied for third among the top ten cities with an unemployment rate of 2%.
