Popular Sioux Falls Restaurant ‘Lands’ in a New Home
Less than a month after leaving its longtime downtown location, a popular Sioux Falls restaurant has a new home, landing in a spot known for its takeoffs and landings - the Sioux Falls Regional Airport.
Swamp Daddy’s Cajun Kitchen is moving into the Signature Aviation Building, just North of the airport's main terminal.
The space has previously hosted Umami Cafe and Catering and Chef Lance's.
The building is open to the public, does not require passing through security to enter, and has free parking.
Swamp Daddy's will begin taking online orders this week (Thursday, March 19th).

The move comes a little more than three weeks after the restaurant left its location in the Jones 421 Building on North Phillips Avenue on February 28th.
In a February 3rd video message on Facebook, owner Inkaa Beaudion made the announcement saying that the business ‘didn’t choose to leave’, but had ‘no choice but to transition out of the building’, calling it ‘an abrupt situation.’
In the years Swamp Daddy’s had occupied space in the Jones 421 building, it endured fires, floods, and a glycol leak that put the restaurant out of commission from January to August 2024.
