North Dakota’s Tigirily Gold’s Butterfly Moments At ACMs

North Dakota's very own country queens Tigirlily Gold rubbed some serious elbows backstage at the ACMs recently.

I mean some of the leading ladies and men of country music.  Even a legend like Randy Travis.

I was strolling through their Facebook page recently checking out their ACM experience.  Of course, they won an ACM and also performed for the show (both a first for the ladies).

What a surreal bunch of moments I'm sure for Tigirlily Gold.

I remember when they were starting out and performing at high school gymnasiums across North Dakota.  That was the first time I had a chance to see their talent live.

They performed at a small-town high school just west of Grand Forks (Larimore).  I actually was doing a teen dance for the school after their performance.  So, I guess you could say Tigirlily Gold opened for me.  Even then I knew they had something special about them.

Since then, Kendra and Krista from Tigirlily Gold have been kind enough to stop by the radio stations I've worked at over the years and have never forgotten their North Dakota routes.

How can you not cheer for this North Dakota dynamic duo?

I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see them in Mandan on Saturday, June 29th kicking off rodeo days.  I have a feeling that is going to be a special show.  Get your tickets now while you still can.
