Jacob Blank Named Division II National Pitcher of the Year
Augustana University's Jacob Blank had a fantastic season that was capped off with a national award.
The Gretna, Nebraska native finished the season with a perfect 10-0 record and a .78 ERA. He even threw a no-hitter earlier this season against Minnesota-Duluth. Needless to say, he was almost impossible to stop.
Blank has been named as the 2017 Ron Lenz National Pitcher of the Year by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association. He was also awarded as the National Pitcher of the Year by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
He just finished his junior year at Augustana, and helped lead the team to a 37-22 overall record.
