Kevin Durant Changing His Jersey Number With Brooklyn Nets
The changes for Kevin Durant continue now that he is with the Brooklyn Nets as the two time NBA Finals MVP is changing his jersey number.
He is losing his number 35 and switching to the number 7.
Last week Durant committed to Brooklyn and decided to move on from his time with Golden State.
He is signing a four year contract worth $164 million and will be playing along side Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn.
We have seen other superstars like LeBron James ditch his longtime 23 when he went to Miami and started dawning number 6.
LeBron would go on to wear 23 once he returned to Cleveland and wore it year one in LA only to now be switching numbers since Anthony Davis has landed with the Lakers and also wears number 23.
As Durant moves on to number 7, Golden State has announced that they will retire his number 35.
