Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball caught the ire of hip-hop fans when he dissed rap icon Nas on his reality series. On the show, the point guard said that the Queensbridge lyricist was not relevant and that Migos and Future are “real hip-hop.”

This didn’t sit well with Bay Area rapper Lil B who called out Lonzo on Twitter and threatened to put a curse on him for his remarks about the Illmatic MC.

“Lonzo Ball is a few seconds away from being cursed his rookie year on the lakers, nas is hip hop and always relevant, watch ur team,” he wrote. He later added, in all caps, "LONZO WATCH UR MOUTH."

The almighty BASED GOD doesn't play when it comes to delivering curses on athletes. Last year, Lil B put a hex on former Lakers player D'Angelo Russell after he infamously leaked a video of then-teammate Nick Young admitting infidelity. The clip led to the implosion of Nick's engagement to Iggy Azalea.

Recently, Lil B lifted a two-year curse on Houston Rockets guard James Harden for purportedly stealing his signature dance. So Lonzo better be careful.

Reactions to Lil B's warning to Lonzo was mixed with some seeing it as a joke, while others are warning Lonzo to tread lightly.

"He's just a kid BasedGod please don't do it! On behalf of all the troops give him another chance," wrote one fan. Another commenter tweeted, "No one believe in your fake ass curses go ahead and curse Lonzo he still [gonna] whoop ya team [Golden State Warriors] ass."
