Minnesota United shocked a lot of soccer fans with the way they played inside the Orlando bubble making it all the way to the semi-finals of the MLS is Back Tournament.

The Loons will look to continue that success as they restart the regular season and try and make a run at the MLS Trophy in December.

Minnesota United will begin their restart of the regular season next Friday, August 22 at Allianz Field in St. Paul against Sporting KC.

Even though Dallas and Nashville played in front of fans in Dallas earlier this week, the United will start the season with no fans.

St. Paul currently is hosting sporting events with fans as the St. Paul Saints are having 1,500 fans a game right now.

The MLS is leaving it up to the individual clubs to decide the fan situations according to their discretion and local health guidelines.

As the MLS restarts, they will march toward a championship game in December, with 18 clubs making the postseason in 2020.

The Portland Timbers won the MLS is Back Tournament which concluded last week.
