The honeymoon period for Scott Frost being hired by Nebraska took a bit of a hit on Sunday as the Huskers top ranked recruit de-committed.

Joshua Moore, the 6'1, do it all wide receiver had been rumored to be considering a possible de-commitment as he had offers from all over the place and even visited Alabama this fall.

Regardless, it is unfortunate as Nebraska needs as many playmakers as possible and the loss of Moore from the 2018 class isn't the way Scott Frost wanted to start off his tenure with back in Lincoln.

According to ESPN, this is the fourth ESPN Top 300 prospect who has decided to de-commit from Nebraska since the end of October.

Frost is active on the recruiting trail, along with his coaches as all of them have been showing up on social media the last week or so with prospects.

That desire and effort accompanied with the momentum Frost brings from UCF, the Huskers are going to be fine when it is all said and done but you never like to lose committed talent.

The Huskers did add two 3 star recruits and one four star ovrer the weekend since the de-commitment of Moore.

ESPN reports Nebraska has 10 players committed overall for the 2018 class wth two of them in the ESPN Top 300.
