The Sioux Falls Stampede have found their guy.

The Stampede has named Marty Murray their new General Manager and Head Coach on Tuesday.

Murray becomes the eighth general manager and head coach of the organization.

Over the last eight seasons, Murray has been the head coach and GM of the Minot Minotauros of the NAHL.

He also played in the NHL racking up 261 games and 31 goals with the Flames, Flyers, Hurricanes, and Kings.

The USHL cut their season short due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Scott Owens announced his retirement following that decision.
