20 Years Ago Today Mike Miller Hits March Madness Buzzer Beater

Twenty years ago today, Mike Miller hit a buzzer-beater against Butler in the NCAA Tournament that helped Florida win their opening-round game.

Florida would go on to make a trip to the Final Four and eventually lose to Michigan State in the Championship game.

I personally remember this game and that whole tournament like it was yesterday and back in South Dakota we were all cheering on a kid from our home state.

Miller would go on to have a lengthy career in the NBA and win two NBA Championships in and last year joined the University of Memphis staff as an assistant coach.
