The South Dakota Coyotes and South Dakota State Jackrabbits meet every year on the gridiron these days and have a storied rivalry that dates back to 1889.

Lately, the Jackrabbits have been the aggressor in the series, winning 13 of the last 15 matchups.

The Yotes have been able to pull off a pair of home wins in the series in recent years, winning in 2019 and 2021, but haven't won in Brookings since 2000.
