A Second Start Can’t Hurt For The Eagles
As Christmas approaches, you can feel the excitement in the air with each day; Another reason to be excited this holiday season is because of the play of Jalen Hurts!! Last Sunday the Eagles gave their fans an early Christmas present when they beat the New Orleans Saints 24-21 with their Rookie Quarterback Jalen Hurts. The team played really well in front of Hurts and he deserves the credit for giving this team a spark! The Eagles now officially have a Quarterback controversy on their hands: Hurts had a great day running the ball compiling 106 yards on the ground and keeping the Saints defense guessing the entire game. Hurts also threw the ball 17 times for 167 yards along with a great Touchdown Pass to Alshon Jeffery. It was a welcomed sight and a pleasure watching the game last Sunday, which hasn’t been the case over the last 5 weeks or the entire season for that matter. The Offensive Line didn’t allow any sacks versus the Saints highly lauded Defense and the Jalen Hurts didn't thrown any interceptions! This Sunday, the Eagles will be led by Jalen Hurts as their rejuvenated offense heads to the desert to play the Arizona Cardinals for a 4:25 kickoff.
