The Chicago Bulls announced on Monday that longtime General Manager Gar Forman has been fired amid a new look for the front office.

Forman has been criticized by many in the media and the fans themselves in Chicago for the lack of leadership and direction it takes to build a team back to prominence.

The lack of identity has been a big problem as well mixing coaches and players with different ideas on how to be a winner has never been the formula for success.

ESPN reported last week that the Bulls were set to hire Denver Nuggets GM Arturas Karnisovas as the new VP of Basketball Operations and that set these moves into motion.

In addition to the departure of Forman, John Paxson was moved to a Senior Advisor role after being replaced by Karnisovas.

The Bulls must decide if Zach LaVine is the star they want to build around and find some sort of identity at head coach if they want to start on the road to winning once again.
