Eagles ‘Definitely’ Moving on from South Dakota Native Goedert
South Dakota natives in the NFL are few and far between, and Dallas Goedert has been representing our great state in the league since 2018.
The Britton, SD native joined the Eagles as a second-round pick back in 2018, and has been with Philly ever since.
That will reportedly change soon, and the soon-to-be free agent isn't expected to return to Philly.

Per NBCSports and Matthew Berry:
While many of the Eagles headlines these days are about whether A.J. Brown will stay or go, one player I’m told that will definitely be moving on from Philly this offseason is Dallas Goedert.
Goedert signed a re-worked deal to remain with the team last offseason, and finished with 591 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
Since joining Philadelphia in 2018, Goedert has 4,676 receiving yards and 35 touchdowns. Both marks are among the best for Tight Ends in Eagles history.
(This past season)...Goedert broke the franchise record for most touchdowns by a tight end in a single season, a mark previously set by Pete Retzlaff in 1965.
The former Jackrabbit should have a strong market this offseason with many teams in search of a do-it-all veteran presence at the position. According to Spotrac, Goedert's estimated yearly contract value is right around 6 million dollars this offseason.
