Iowa State is off to its fourth bowl game in four years and they are rewarding their head coach Matt Campbell in the process.

The University announced on Tuesday that Campbell will be receiving a contract extension that will take him through the 2025 season.

Lately, there have been numerous rumors that have linked Campbell to other openings throughout college football including Florida State, Arkansas, and Ole Miss.

But now that Iowa State has given him another contract extension, he at least will stay in Ames another year or two.

Over his tenure with the Cyclones, Campbell is 26-24 and has taken them to bowl games each of the last four seasons.

After a 7-5 regular season in 2019, Iowa State will find their bowl game destiny on Monday.
