After month of enduring road closures, detours, and increased traffic, the patience of drivers on Sioux Falls' east side is about to be rewarded.

Once complete, the intersection will have three through lanes, as well as two left-turn lanes in each direction. There will also be a trio of lighted pedestrian underpasses.

Tasks to be completed over the next few weeks includes work on the median, sidewalks, retaining walls, and landscaping.
