The Jimmer was shinning big time during the NBA D-League All Star Game as he scored 35 points and took home the MVP honor.

The East narrowly won in a  128-124 victory over the West in the showcase game for the 19-team league.

Jimmer manina has certainly subsided since his days at BYU and after being the No. 10 pick by the Bucks he was traded to the Kings it hasn't been easy sailing.

By all accounts he's kept a great attitude and when he joined me on my radio show he was nothing but positive.

His numbers so far this season with the Westchester Knicks have been solid, averaging 22.6 points, 4.8 assists.

ESPN.com said Fredette has this to say about getting back to the NBA.

"Everybody in this league, that's what their dream is. They want to get back or into the NBA, or further their career. That's what this league is for, and I'm no different."
