Don't expect any football to be played on Christmas Day unless it's a game of flag football between you and your relatives in the backyard.

Christmas Day on ESPN 99.1 we bring you the annual NBA double-header. The holiday tradition continues this year as the NBA will actually feature five games for the 11th consecutive season.

Game one will feature the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers renewing their storied rivalry. Our coverage begins at 4:00 PM. Game two on the schedule the two-time defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers.

ESPN and ABC TV will combine to televise a total of five games:

The Milwaukee Bucks making their first Christmas appearance since 1977 visit the New York Knicks. The Houston Rockets hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder as reigning NBA Most Valuable Player James Harden and 2016-17 MVP Russell Westbrook go head-to-head. And the Utah Jazz’s first Christmas Day appearance in 21 years hosts the Portland Trail Blazers.
