NFL Week 15 Games That Will Be Shown Locally in Sioux Falls
It's going to be a great day to sit back and watch football all day as the Vikings fight for the NFC North title, Aaron Rodgers returns to Green Bay, and the top spot in the AFC up for grabs.
Compared to the prior weeks of the season, this week's NFL distribution is rather straight forward. The games that we will see here in the Sioux Falls areas are the ones that will be shown in a majority of the country.
What helps that is the fact that this week features a Thursday night game, two games on Saturday, and a Monday Night Football contest. The amount of teams playing on Sunday is less than normal.
Minnesota will be on CBS for a second consecutive week as they return home to US Bank Stadium to host the Cincinnati Bengals. There is a divide this week as the east coast and south will take different games, but everyone else will see the Vikings/Bengals.
Green Bay will fly back into the early window on FOX with the Vikings on CBS. Green Bay gets Aaron Rodgers back as they travel to Carolina. FOX, as a network, is overly grateful that Rodgers is returning as it adds intrigue into their early window. Other early games on FOX include Philly/NY Giants, Washington/Arizona, and Houston/Jacksonville. So, naturally, most of the country is taking the Green Bay/Carolina game.
CBS will have the doubleheader this weekend and the 3:25 game is almost a national broadcast. New England and Pittsburgh is the highlighted game and everyone in the country outside of the San Francisco and Nashville areas are getting the game.
If you’re ever curious about which games will be shown in the area, there are a couple of places you can find listings. First, my personal favorite, NFL distribution maps are put out by the staff at 506Sports. KTTW and KELO-TV also both list the scheduled games on their respective webpages. As a reminder, all games are subject to change (but rarely do).
