It's no secret that the Green Bay Packers will have a lot of new faces at Cornerback in 2026.

The team swung (and missed) big for Nate Hobbs in free agency last offseason and also face big questions in regard to the futures of Keisean Nixon, Carrington Valentine, and others.

Green Bay has three impending free agents at the position, including Trevon Diggs, who spent just a few short weeks with the team late last season.

ESPN.com has an article that hashes out ideal fits for the top free agents on the market, and one notable cornerback could soon be headed to Green Bay.

Per ESPN.com:

34. Greg Newsome II, CB

Best team fit: Green Bay Packers

The Packers' cornerbacks struggled after Micah Parsonsinjury limited the pass rush, and new defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon will install a zone-heavy scheme. That's a fit for Newsome, who uses his backfield vision in coverage. Re-signing with the Jaguars is also an option.

The Packers are likely to lose the bulk of Malik Willis, Romeo Doubs, Rasheed Walker, and Quay Walker in free agency, but still should have enough money to be relatively active on the open market themselves.

Newsome II has been in the league since 2021 when he joined the Browns as a first-round pick. He was traded to Jacksonville at this year's trade deadline. Over the course of his five-year career, Newsome has recorded four interceptions and 207 total tackles.
