A home loss to the number-one team in the nation has dropped South Dakota State in this week's FCS Top 25 Coaches Poll.

The Jackrabbits (6-2/3-1 Missouri Valley Conference) are down two spots to number five in the latest national rankings following the 23-16 loss to North Dakota State, Saturday (October 26) in Brookings.

The Bison remain the unanimous number-one as their win streak now stands at 29.

Illinois State and Northern Iowa are the only other Valley teams in the poll. The Redbirds are seventh this week, while the Panthers are tenth.
