Buffalo Bills Surprisingly Name Nathan Peterman Starting QB
The Buffalo Bills are doing Buffalo Bills things once again as they have named Nathan Peterman as their starting quarterback over the first-round pick Josh Allen.
This was all set up by the trade earlier in the weekend as AJ McCarron was traded to the Oakland Raiders.
McCarron was brought in during the offseason to be the bridge quarterback between now and the future QB and many believed Peterman would be the odd man out, yet now he is the starter.
Rookie Josh Allen has had some ups and downs in the preseason and the Bills clearly want to protect their investment, but when you have a team who is looking for long-term consistency, you would think you would start that clock as soon as possible on the future.
The Bills, however, are thinking differently and we'll see if it sets them up for success or eventually sets them up for failure.
