University of South Dakota senior Ciara Duffy has been named the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year for the 2019-2020 season.

The award was established this year by Her Hoop Stats in recognition for the best mid-major women's player each season. Duffy becomes the inaugural winner of the award, which is named after fellow Rapid City native Becky Hammon.

Duffy averaged 16.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and five assists per game this season. She finished her USD career with 1,793 points. The total is good for third all-time in Coyote history.

South Dakota finished the season 30-2, went undefeated in the Summit League regular season with an average 32-point margin of victory, and captured the Summit League Tournament title.
