It's a theme that the Eagles have been dealing with since the beginning of the season: The Injury Report, and the Next-Man-Up Mentality.  Right now the fans and the media are questioning the coaches' play calling along with the team's roster construction and the Front Office Draft Picks over the last couple of years.

The Eagles lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week in a game that they could have won.  They got a great performance from a previously unknown receiver who helped make that game winnable.  Because of an injury bug that has wreaked havoc on the Eagles Receiving Corps, the Birds had to look elsewhere for help on Offense.  Travis Fulgham, who was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Old Dominion, had his breakout game versus the Steelers.  Spending the first three games of the 2020 season on the Eagles Practice Squad, Fulgham got the call up before the 49ers game and made the most of his opportunity.  He scored his first touchdown on a deep pass from Carson Wentz.  Against the Steelers, Fulgham looked like a tested veteran catching ten passes for 152 yards and a Touchdown.  It wasn’t enough as Philadelphia fell to the Steelers 38-29.  The injury bug isn’t exclusive to the Eagles as their NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys lost their Starting Quarterback Dak Prescott to a gruesome injury last Sunday.

This Saturday in The Locker Room with Billy Schwein, Scott McKay and I will recap the Eagles loss to the Steelers along with preview the Eagles versus Ravens matchup this Sunday.  We will also hear from former Kansas City Chiefs WR and Mainland Mustang, Dave Klemic.  Dave suffered a very gruesome injury similar to Dak Prescott; we will hear about the struggles of rehabbing and his time in the NFL.

On Sunday for our Eagles pregame show Live on the Ocean City Boardwalk at ALL CAMPUS, we have a great show lined up.  Former Eagles Tight End Ken Dunek and I will preview the Eagles-Ravens game.  In our “Where Are They Now” segment we will hear from former Eagles assistant coach and former USFL/NFL General Manager Carl Peterson.  Carl started with the Eagles in 1977 with Dick Vermeil's coaching staff.  Peterson proved himself as a great talent evaluator with the United States Football League Philadelphia Stars as their President and General Manager before being hired to be the Kansas City Chiefs General Manager from 1990-2008.  As always, Eagles Writer and Fox 29 Sports Anchor Scott Grayson checks in the first hour and then my Fantasy Football Guru, Brian Hartley, in the second hour.  All the action starts every Saturday and Sunday from 10am on 973 ESPN!
