Harrison Smith is heading to Hawaii to represent the Minnesota Vikings in the 2016 NFL Pro Bowl.

Darren Wolfson of KSTP in Minneapolis first broke the news, and ESPN's Ben Goessling has confirmed the announcement. The Minnesota Vikings confirmed the news early Monday afternoon.

Smith will join Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen and running back Adrian Peterson as the Vikings representatives. This will be Smith's first appearance in the Pro Bowl in his young career. He appeared in 13 games this season and accounted for 49 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and two interceptions.
