It’s a Globetrotting Summer for Former South Dakota Center Abigail Fogg
August is typically not a very busy month for basketball players.
But former South Dakota center Abigail Fogg's schedule is quite full these days.
Fogg is getting ready for the International University Sports Federation Games in Taipei City, Tawain, later this month.
The native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, is on Team Canada at the event. They open play Monday (August 21) against Portugal, and also have games with Korea (August 22) and Japan (August 23). The playoffs would then follow.
That's just the beginning of the globetrotting for Fogg this summer.
Once she completes her stint with Team Canada, she's off to Switzerland, where she'll begin her professional career with Portes du Soleil B.B.C. Troistorrents.
For USD last season, Fogg averaged 11 points, six rebounds and one blocked shot per game.
