A mile-long stretch of one of Sioux Falls' busiest streets will be down to one lane for two months.

Starting Monday (May 13) at 7:00 AM, the outside eastbound lane of East 10th Street will be closed to traffic from west of I-229 to Sycamore Avenue.

The closure will allow crews to perform utility improvements, concrete repairs, pavement milling, and asphalt overlay.

During the work, South Blaine Avenue and South Thompson Avenue will be closed at East 10th Street.

For Sioux Falls, the earliest views are from 2008 and the latest from early 2022.

Some of the looks aren't the clearest, but it still gives a real good look at how dynamic the east side of Sioux Falls is.
