With all National Football League teams trimming their rosters to 53 players Tuesday, the Minnesota Vikings not only accomplished that, but they also managed to complete three trades as part of the process.

The third, and most notable, move come Wednesday when they traded for a wide receiver who was actually selected one pick ahead of Vikings superstar receiver Justin Jefferson.

Multiple sources are reporting the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles have agreed on a trade involving Jalen Reagor, a young talent who has yet to reach his full potential. In his first two seasons, he's caught 65 passes for 695 yards with three touchdowns.

The Eagles selected Reagor 21st overall in the 2020 NFL draft, just one pick before the Vikings selected Justin Jefferson, who has been one of best receivers since joining the NFL.

While he would likely be the Vikings 4th receiver, behind Jefferson, Adam Thielen and K.J. Osborn, one area he could make an immediate impact with the Vikings is as a kick and punter returner.

While the Vikings receive Jalen Reagor, the Eagles will receive a 2023 seventh-round NFL draft pick and a 2024 conditional fourth-round pick that would downgrade to a fifth-round pick if certain statistical marks are not met.

The other two trades the Vikings involved the team acquiring defensive tackle Ross Blacklock from the Houston Texans, while also sending offensive lineman Chris Reed to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Vikings begin their 2022 NFL Season on September 11 against the Green Bay Packers. Kickoff from U.S. Bank Stadium is set for 3:25 p.m.
