South Dakota Prep Media Basketball Poll 2-5-18

A week of chaos has led to three new number one ranked teams in this week's South Dakota Prep Media Basketball Poll.

This past weekend featured a battle between the top two teams in Class AA boys. Rapid City Stevens defeated Rapid City Central 57-53 in front of a packed house to take control over Class AA, and the new media poll. The rest of the teams ranked last week remained in the poll for this week, with a break of a tie for the 4th and 5th spot.

Class AA girls is the only class this week in which the rankings haven't changed. Aberdeen Central is still the favorite in the class with Rapid City Stevens right behind them. Lincoln, Harrisburg, and O'Gorman remain in the 3-5 spots with Brandon Valley on the outside looking in.

There are just three and a half weeks remaining in the regular season. The new round of 16 will be played March 2 and 3.
