For the third time this season, Minnesota Vikings kicker Dan Bailey has been named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Bailey accounted for 15 of the Vikings 39 points in the 39-10 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 15. His 15 points scored is the most he has put on the board this season.

This is the third time he has been named as the top special teams player in the NFC this season. He was previously given the honor for his performances in Week 1 vs. Atlanta and Week 5 at the NY Giants. Overall for his career, Bailey has been honored six times.

Bailey and the rest of the Minnesota Vikings approach Week 16 with an opportunity to clinch a playoff spot with a win over Green Bay on Monday night. Minnesota can also clinch a spot with a Los Angeles Rams loss to San Francisco on Saturday night.
