A fourth quarter barrage by the Northern Arizona Suns led to a huge 127-123 comeback win over the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Sunday.

Leading by 19 points in the early stages of the fourth quarter the Skyforce (26-18) immediately surrendered 16 straight points. Northern Arizona (21-21) six straight shots and forced three turnovers during the run. On the night Sioux Falls committed a season-high 26 turnovers.

For the quarter the Suns outscored the visitors 44-24 to secure the win. It was a game the hosts had to have to keep hopes of playing in the postseason.

Xavier Silas scored a career high 35 points to spur the successful resurgence for the Suns. Elijah Millsap did his part with 25 tallies, 9 rebounds and 7 assists.

For the second straight night, one of the reserves put up the most points as Henry Walker hit seven from downtown to pump in 25 points. Keith Benson put up double-double number 28, compiling 17 points and 10 rebounds plus his one swat makes him the all-time Skyforce career leader in blocked shots with 212. Nick Davis finished his time in Sioux Falls with 211.

Wednesday night will be the next Sioux Falls adventure at home with Reno. Northern Arizona’s journey will also continue Wednesday as host to another playoff hopeful in the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
