South Dakota’s Abigail Fogg Will Play Professionally in Switzerland
Abigail Fogg's basketball career has already taken her from her native Canada to South Dakota, and now she's signed to play in Switzerland, hopefully after a stop in Taiwan.
Fogg will be playing professionally for Portes du Soleil B.B.C. Troistorrents in Switzerland. Prior to that, she'll tryout to represent her home country at the 2017 International University Sports Federation Games in Taipei City, Taiwan, in August.
Her Swiss team finshed 4-18 last season in the LNA last season. Just one player with college basketball experience in the United States was on the roaster - Tracey Carrington, who graduated from Morgan State in 2015.
At USD, Fogg was honorable mention All-Summit League player in her senior season after averaging 11 points, six rebounds and one blocked shot per game. She was a member of the Coyotes’ 2016 Women’s National Invitation Tournament championship team.
