There are so many great barbecue restaurants across the country and across the Mount Rushmore State.

A recent article from INSIDER aimed to quantify the 'best barbecue joins in every state,' and a Pierre, South Dakota establishment took home the recognition.

Of course, there are a ton of different ways to rate and review barbecue places, but Pierre's Big Tom's Diner was recognized on the list that utilized Yelp! reviews.

Here is what the reviewer had to say on Big Tom's:

"Big Tom's is a find! Friendly service, great food cooked to order and you just have to embrace the divey ambience. The hamburger buns baked on-site really set Tom's apart from all the rest — they're great," wrote Yelp user Paul W.

The Facebook review community would seem to agree, giving Big Tom's a 4.5/5 review with over 150 votes.

Per their Facebook page, Big Tom's describes their style as follows:

Old fashioned inspired diner specializing in fresh house smoked pulled pork, beef brisket and ribs.

Seems to me like a must stop the next time I'm in the area!
