The Augustana men's basketball team had a roller coaster of a season and it all came to an end on Saturday during the NSIC Tournament.

Augie fell to Northern State 66-64 in a hard fought battle from the start.

The Vikings and the Wolves traded blows all first half and Augie held a three point lead going into the break.

Northern State got off to a fast start in the second half and really controlled most of the second half until a late rally from Augustana.

Augie tied the game with 15 seconds left but two free throws with 2 seconds left gave NSU the lead by two.

The final play saw NSU steal the inbounds pass and close out the win.

Augie ends the season with a 19-11 record.

The NSIC Tournament continues on Sunday at the Sanford Pentagon with the second round of the women's bracket.
