Add another accolade to the career of Augustana's Jake Lacina. He has been named to the All-American Team.

Lacina was named to the Preseason All-American team back before the season began. With no surprise, he lived up to the hype and turned another great season into an award-winning one. Now Lacina has been named to the second team on the All-American Team list.

He started all 12 games for the Vikings this season and started 45 games throughout his Augustana career. In addition to the second-team honors, Lacina was named to the first-team all NSIC team, and he will receive the Rimington Trophy on January 18. The Rimington Trophy is awarded to the top centers across each college football division (FBS, FCS, DII, DIII, NAIA).

Lacina helped lead the Vikings to a 9-3 season that included an NCAA Division II playoff appearance.
