Block of the Year in the G-League Comes at the 2018 Showcase (VIDEO)

The 2018 NBA G-League Showcase has once again ascended on Mississauga, Canada and the players are showing out in hopes of a chance at their NBA dreams.

Big plays are always memorable to scouts and fans alike during this evaluation process and sometimes the defense gets overshadowed by the offense.

On Day 1 though, it was the defense of the Erie Bayhawks that sparked the play of the day and quite possibly the block of the year.

The Atlanta Hawks affiliate was playing the Northern Arizona Suns when Craig Sword pulls off the chase down block that was absolutely amazing.
