O'Gorman and Roosevelt will continue its series at the Sanford Pentagon on Thursday night and they will do so sporting throwback jerseys.

The Rough Riders and Knights will play at the Sanford Pentagon for the fifth consecutive season. This year Roosevelt will be considered the home team. The varsity girls' game will begin at 6:30 and be followed by the boys.

O'Gorman is off to a fast start this season. The girls are currently ranked in the top spot of the South Dakota Prep Media Basketball Poll and have a perfect 5-0 record. The O'Gorman boys are 4-2 on the year and enter the game off of three straight wins.

Roosevelt's girls are in the eighth spot of the Class AA standings with a 2-3 overall record. The Rough Riders have wins over Brookings and Huron entering Thursday night. The Roosevelt boys are ranked fourth in the most recent poll and are 4-1 on the season.

The two teams split the opening season doubleheader back on December 13 at the O'Gorman gym. The O'Gorman girls defeated Roosevelt 64-31 while the Roosevelt boys beat O'Gorman 52-47.

Both teams will be wearing throwback jerseys for the event. For fans, concessions, music, and in-game promotions will also have a throwback feel to them. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Seniors are able to attend the event for free. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.

ESPN 99.1 will broadcast both games from the Sanford Pentagon on Thursday night. Coverage begins at 6:30.
