Results From 2020 Sanford Pentagon Boys Basketball Classic

The top team in Class A defeated one of the top teams in Class AA for the second straight year as St. Thomas More claimed victory over O'Gorman.

The Sanford Pentagon boys basketball classic took place on Saturday (February 8) with multiple games being played. Washington, Lincoln, Harrisburg, O'Gorman, Sioux Falls Christian, and Tea Area all participated in the event.

Class A's St. Thomas More defeated O'Gorman 62-58. This is the second year in a row that the top team in Class A knocked down one of the top teams from Class AA. Tea Area defeated Lincoln at last year's event. O'Gorman is now 10-4 on the season.

Washington, Tea Area, and Harrisburg picked up victories as part of the classic. Harrisburg bounced back from a loss to Yankton on Thursday night by dropping 81 points on Madison.
