He's back! Jack Cochrane has been a key defensive and special teams contributor with the Kansas City Chiefs for the past three seasons, and he officially re-signed with the team on Friday.

Cochrane, who is a Mount Vernon Iowa native and USD Coyote football alum, has been in the NFL since 2022 when he joined Kansas City as an undrafted free agent.

Per ProFootballTalk:

Cochrane was tendered as a restricted free agent last month along with cornerback Nazeeh Johnson. Johnson has also signed his tender.

Cochrane signed with the Chiefs after going undrafted out of South Dakota in 2022. He has played in 54 overall games for the team, but missed the end of last season and the playoffs while on injured reserve.

Cochrane has seen the majority of his playing time on special teams. He has 43 tackles and one pass defensed over the course of his career.

Cochrane was a First Team All-MVFC pick in his final season in Vermillion, and is continuing to carve out a very impressive pro career in Kansas City.

Through his first three seasons, he has amassed 42 total tackles along with a pass deflection.
